Baby's Day Poem
In the morning when you wake,
We fill your tummy for your sake,
Then we brush those teeth of yours,
Once we're done, it's time to play!
Playing does get tiring though,
Kicking and moving all over the floor,
As those little eyes of yours close,
Mommy can tell, Mommy knows.
Oh Look! Your awake now!
It's time for Lunch, oh Wow!
Yay! We get to play again,
You love to play and to learn!
Once again it's time to sleep,
Don't blame us! You look beat!
Rest those eyes, it will be alright.
Not much changes, just repeats.
As you wake, your tummy moans,
Your tummy says "it's dinner time"!
Daddy knows, he can tell.
"Yummy"! your tummy screams in delight.
After a little more playtime,
The sun starts to drift off to sleep,
It's bathtime, hope the waters not too deep!
Oh! And don't forget to brush those teeth!
After your all clean, it's quiet time,
Pick a book, and let's read together,
Storytime can be fun, but "Shhh!",
Bedtime follows very soon.
Kisses and hugs, it's sleepy time...
Tuck, tuck, tuck you in,
We love you! Goodnight...
Tomorrow is a new wonderful day!
